IDEAL CARPETS OF CHESTERFIELD LIMITED
(TRADING AS IDEAL FLOORING AND ROLL END CENTRE)

ESTIMATES

Unless otherwise stated, any estimate is based upon current prices, and may be subject to fair and reasonable price increase which may occur between estimate date and ordering.

TIMES

Unless otherwise stated and agreed with Ideal Flooring, while every effort will be made to comply with the customers wishes, Ideal Flooring cannot guarantee a specific fitting date and time.

CANCELLATION

On flooring that needs to be specially ordered for the customer and Ideal Flooring have received the goods then there is a no cancellation permitted. Stock items can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to fitting.

COLOUR AND DESIGN MATCHING

Where two or more pieces of flooring are used on the same installation, Ideal Flooring will contact suppliers to obtain a colour / design match but this cannot be guaranteed.

FITTERS / INSTALLATION

Fitters are self employed sub contractors. Payment for fitting is direct to the fitters on completion of work. This dose not apply to insurance and finance orders.
All Ideal Flooring fitters have Public Liability Insurance and Goods in Transit Insurance.

Unless otherwise stated and agreed with Ideal Flooring,
the site must be prepared for installation as follows.

1. All flooring coverings, Underlay and fixings not to be re-used must be removed from the site.
2. All furnishings and furniture must be clear from site.
3. Floors must be free from debris and in a condition to fit the flooring. Where possible Ideal Flooring will give an estimate for any necessary remedial work to correct sub floor.
4. The fitter may need to remove doors to install the flooring but is unable to take responsibility for trimming and refitting.
5. Any wiring or pipework at or below the surface where the new flooring is to be fitted must be bought to the attention of the fitters before installation commences. No responsibility for the damage will be accepted by Ideal Flooring.
6. Unless otherwise specified on agreed plans, the floor covering will be installed in position / direction the fitter deem to be the most suitable.
7. Where flooring impede the inspection of the subfloor, no obligation to correct any problems arising will be Ideal Flooring’s responsibility. These may be repaired at an agreed cost.

PAYMENT

The total amount shown on the invoice is due and payable to Ideal Flooring in full no later than 14 days after job completion.

RETENTION OF TITLE

Unless and until full payment has been received by Ideal Flooring for all of the goods and service supplied, whether or not such goods and services are included on this invoice or on any invoice issues by Ideal Flooring to the purchasers

1. Ownership of the goods shall be retained by Ideal Flooring and goods title will not pass to the purchasers.
2. The purchaser may not assign the goods to a third party.
3. Where goods have been supplied in the absence of payment, or where payment is in default, Ideal Flooring, it’s employees and authorised agents, reserve the right to recover from the purchaser such goods to which Ideal Flooring retains title and to recover from the purchaser in addition all of any costs arising there from.
4. In the event that any cheque, tendered in payment for goods and/or services so invoiced, is subsequently dishonoured the purchaser will be deemed to be in default of payment and 1, 2, and 3, will apply.

PROPER LAW

1. All contract to which these conditions apply shall be constructed in accordance with English Law.
2. In the event of a dispute between you and us, we both agree that the court of England and Wales will be the only court with the power to deal with the dispute.
